About Cerys Jones

Cerys Jones (formerly Edwards) - experienced writer and proofreader (English-language texts for major publishers).

 

Trained at the prestigious TRN journalist facility in Newcastle upon Tyne and worked as a senior reporter with the Cardiff-based South Wales Echo evening newspaper. Spent five years as a Public Relations & Marketing Manager for leading chartered accountants and business advisers, Price Waterhouse Wales (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), based in Cardiff, and before that was a Press Relations Executive with the WDA (Welsh Development Agency). Gained a BA (Hons) degree in Modern English and Communication (including linguistics) from the University of Wales, Institute of Science & Technology (UWIST), Cardiff. Technical skills include Teeline shorthand. Fluent in Welsh, although the writing and proofreading services are for English-language texts only as that is where her expertise benefits clients the most. Used to working in confidence with clients.
